The Child with the Helmet, Ivry, July 2024. During a first visit to the sculpture storage and workshop of the City of Paris (COARC - Conservatory of Religious and Civil Works of Paris), we came across this plaster sculpture, prepared for bronze casting. A chilling scene: the little kid, tenderly surrounded by his parents, is wearing a helmet — as if he was preparing to go to war…
