NEVER LOOK BACK - « Ne regarde jamais en arrière »
LOOK UP - « Regarde en haut »
WHAT'S LEFT ? - « Qu'est-ce qui est à gauche ? / Qu'est-ce qui reste ? »
WHAT'S RIGHT ? - « Qu'est-ce qui est à droite ? / Qu'est-ce qui est juste ? »

Quand nous venions tout juste d'écrire NEVER LOOK BACK, une vieille dame qui passait commentait : « I wish I hadn't… - Si seulement je ne l'avais pas fait… » Et sous l'inscription WHAT'S RIGHT ?, quelqu'un avait ajouté à la craie : « I don't know - Je ne sais pas. »

En 2022, la biennale d'art EVA International fête ses 45 ans sous le titre paradoxal NEVER LOOK BACK, en hommage à notre intervention urbaine de 1996.
En 2023 pour la 40^e édition de la biennale, Michele Horrigan revisite les archives pour créer un Monopoly artistique, GET ART. Les inscriptions WHAT'S LEFT ? et WHAT'S RIGHT ? y figurent comme étape du jeu.

WHAT'S RIGHT?

When we had just finished writing NEVER LOOK BACK, an old lady passed by, saying : “I wish I hadn't…” And underneath WHAT'S RIGHT? someone added, in chalk : “I don't know.”

In 2022, the EVA International art biennial celebrates its 45^th anniversary under the paradoxical title NEVER LOOK BACK, as a tribute to our urban intervention of 1996.
In 2023 for the 40^th edition of the biennial, Michele Horrigan revisits the archives to create an artistic Monopoly, GET ART. The inscriptions WHAT'S LEFT? and WHAT'S RIGHT? are a step of the board game.

On the occasion of their double exhibition at AEDAEN and at the Syndicat Potentiel in Strasbourg, March 14 - April 7, 2019, dedicated to the collective Banlieue-Banlieue (°1982, Poissy), Antonio Gallego and Mathieu Tremblin launch an edition of posters by artists from all over the world.
The posters have been displayed in public space in Strasburg, and on the ruins of block F and K of the former internment camp Joffre, also known as internment camp of Rivesaltes, for the Exposition Invisible on the occasion of the Retirada, an initiative of Antonio Gallego, May 2019.

The traffic sign meaning “Stop, no trespassing” is transformed into a paradox: “From here on, there is an afterwards”.

À l'occasion de la double exposition à AEDAEN et au Syndicat Potentiel à Strasbourg, du 14 mars au 7 avril 2019, consacrée au collectif Banlieue-Banlieue (°1982, Poissy), Antonio Gallego et Mathieu Tremblin lancent une édition d'affiches qui rassemble des artistes du monde entier.
