From April 5 to June 7, 2025, the Galerie Fernand Léger in Ivry, directed by Hedi Saidi, presents the continuation of the research project Tribute to Work.

Winner ex aequo of the research grant at the end of the Triennale Art Public #3, the artist focuses his research on the notion of the pedestal in the city. The exhibition presents thematic chapters, stages of work and avenues of research into the notion of the pedestal.
The exhibition is punctuated by several moments of activation, performances and encounters. In a balancing act between presence and absence, material and immaterial, the artist plays with the codes of the exhibition, mixing pop culture references with nods to art history. Whether empty, diverted, ironic or committed, these pedestals question our relationship with icons, authority figures and historical representations. Uncommon Bases invites visitors to reconsider the place of the exhibited object and its relationship to space in a surprising, dynamic and witty journey, where art becomes a playground for reflection.
