Corona Krause and Hermann (Sven) Gautel
Since 2012, research project about the artist’s grand-parents, Hermann (called Sven) Gautel and Corona Krause, and the German Bauhaus history, with support from the Aide à la recherche artistique, CNAP, France, and the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation, the Bauhaus-Archiv Berlin, the Bauhaus Museum Weimar, Burg Giebichenstein Halle and the Landesmuseum Oldenburg.

• Works by the maternal grandmother Corona Krause (1906-1948), student at the Bauhaus Weimar, textile and fashion designer, are in the Bauhaus Dessau collection, and also at the Bauhaus-Archiv Berlin and the Bauhaus Museum Weimar, those by the paternal grandfather Hermann (Sven) Gautel (1905-1945), student at the Bauhaus Dessau, furniture and interior designer, in the collections of the Landesmuseum Oldenburg, the Bauhaus-Archiv Berlin and the Bauhaus Dessau.

The artist presented the work in progress on August 9, 2017 at the Meisterhaus Muche, and an overview of the photo work is right now on display at the exhibition of artist residencies at the Gropius house reconstructed by the Berlin architects Bruno Fioretti Marquez (photo Thomas Meyer).

Presentation of the research at the architecture school ENSA Toulouse, on February 27, 2019, intervention in the seminar Between Art and Architecture, 100 Years Bauhaus, directed by Andrea Urlberger, and on March 28, 2019, at musée des Arts et Métiers in Paris, together with Jean-Christophe Arcos The Bauhaus Heritage(s) (photos of the presentation: Vincent Victor Jouffe and Dominique Constantin-Weyer).
The project is shown in May 2019 at the architecture school ENSA Paris-La Villette that is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year: exhibition from May 20 till 29 (photos: Enora Yang), and narrated projection on May 23, in the company of the historian Marc Bédarida, and on September 30, 2019 at the Maison de l’architecture Île-de-France (photos : Jason Karaïndros).
An overview is given at the artist talks of the 7th Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art on October 13, 2019, invited by Areti Leopoulou.
The project is shown again on December 10, 2019 at the hôtel Dupanloup, in the context of the Bauhaus-Archiv Berlin exhibition at the art school ÉSAD Orléans, invited by Gunther Ludwig (photos : Paul de Lanzac), and in 2020 at the ENSA Bourges.
